Well Aunt Oowie, Uncle Treasure, Jake and Jenna have moved on to their next destination...Van DeBerg AFB about 30 minutes shy of Pismo Beach. We already miss them tons. We were lucky enough to spend some quality time with them before they left and we loved every minute of it. We hope to be planning a visit to see them all very soon!

Would you believe we have been going camping at Burney Fallys on the 4th of July for over 10 years now! It's a tradition we are now sharing with our children and love it. We spent most our time with The Hiller, Edwards, and West Family and had a fantastic time with them all. We went hiking to the water falls, boating, Danielle went tubing for real this year and she had so much fun. Alyssa did so good and walking on the rough terrain was no problem for her. Although she hated her life jacket she loved the boat. It was a lot of work but well worth the smiles we recived from all the kids!

Our little wild cat is one.

We had an amazing time at Alyssa's Birthday Party! We were so happy all our friends and family could help us celebrate a wonderful and important day. Alyssa could not have been happier and I really think she had a great time (thanks to some perfectly timed naps!) Grandma and Granny worked their hearts out to help us get things ready. Whether they were getting their hands dirty or keeping the kids busy...or keeping our bellies filled. We couldn't have done it with out you both. Thanks so much! Danielle was so excited for this day to come and was quite the hostess entertaining and feeding all her friends! And both Alyssa and D were so surprised to see Cinderella come to the party and paint faces! It was a wonderful day for the West Family.

never stop laughing...

Well Miss Alyssa Jean keeps us laughing for sure. I actually feel bad because we are always laughing so she starts laughing but has no idea we are laughing at her. Everything she does or we do to her is funnier than the last. Whether it's her eating her first oreo, getting baby food all in her hair, riding on her scooter ( Jenna's baby doll scooter) or getting pusher around in a build a bear wheelchair she does it with a smile!

Love day!

Valentines Day was wonderful this year. Danielle had her 1st valentine's day party at school and had a great time. She passed out valentines to all friends, decorated sugar cookies (that D and I had made the night before) made a beautiful necklace and painted pretty pictures. I was able to help in class and a great time too. We had a quick celebration on the actually Valentines day, we had 2 b-day parties on that day too, so we had a long day of celebrating.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

The sunshine fells so good.

Cruising.

Actually loves the grass.

Getting some love from big Sis.

We have been having some amazing weather lately so we have been trying to take advantage of it everyday! The girls love to be outside...don't we all we it's so nice out.

Our little monster...

Alyssa is becoming quite a little monster these days. She is 9 months old and is growing to quickly. She is all over the place, crawling, standing climbing and dare I saw walking! Well thank goodness she's still holding on to furniture to do it but I'm exhausted...even D is overwhelmed with how fast Alyssa can get in to stuff. Thankfully D is around to help monitor her and is quick to yell "MOM" when Alyssa is getting close to trouble. The funny part is that Alyssa has a permanent smile the entire time I have never seen a more proud little girl. She really enjoys the challenges and is beyond happy when she conquers them with ease. We try to put rode blocks up but it's pretty pointless. She has more bruises than any little baby should have because of all her failed attempts to leap, and jump. She is the funniest little thing and keeps us laughing. A good thing is with all this exercise and movement she is sleeping very well...ahhhh the silver lining. =)
